Mr Boyd is a telecommunications senior finance associate specialising in financial, market and technology analysis. His consulting expertise spans the areas of due diligence and both economic and feasibility analysis.
Mr Boyd’s market analysis experience is focussed on competitive strategy, demand analysis and tariff design for wireless and fixed network applications. His experience has been gained on telecommunications infrastructure and technology investment projects in developing and developed markets. Financial analysis projects include building and auditing business plans, network costing, financial forecasting and valuation, and financial structuring. Mr Boyd’s technology analysis experience includes mobile wireless alternatives, strategic assessments, cost estimating and competitive analysis. Mr Boyd worked on projects for telecommunications operators, investors, lenders, vendors, and multilateral banks and development agencies.
Mr Boyd is a Senior Telecommunications Economist and Financial Analyst. His work experience spans a "Big 5" consulting firm, a major international operator, a technology supplier and, most recently, a private equity investor focussed on telecoms, media and technology investing in emerging markets. Mr Boyd’s 10 year career covers work in 24 countries in the Americas, Asia, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Russia.
