Intelecon provided strategic advice to the Latvian Privatisation Agency regarding the valuation of the country’s incumbent operator, Lattelekom. Key recommendations were offered regarding the most feasible strategy to pursue in the sale of the government’s remaining stake in Lattelekom.

In addition, the issue of the incumbent operator’s ownership of the country's leading mobile operator was also studied. Recommendations were provided, based on a comparative analysis of European country practices, Latvia’s national interests and likely investor responses.
