Strategic study on telecoms – China

An assessment of the size, growth and make-up of the telecommunications sector and equipment markets in China, to identify and evaluate the strategic market positions, opportunities and challenges for Canadian companies exporting to China. Four specific market segments – main PSTN infrastructure, satellite based services, rural telephony and data services – were studied and evaluated province by province. The study was undertaken for the Canadian Department of External Affairs, under Canada’s development and trade support programme.
