Intelecon undertook three community network feasibility studies to identify the user needs, service demand and suitable service delivery strategies for information networks to serve the education, health, library and home based industry sectors in Vancouver Island, Cariboo and other less developed regions of British Columbia. The studies involved extensive user needs surveying and alternative network analysis for the purpose of developing recommendations to bring cost-effective Internet services to rural areas of the province.
